Sunday is my favourite day of the week (minus the Monday Blues which will start to kick in in about 10 minute's time ... Noooooo ... ) cos I can just sleep till the late morning and then slouch on the couch (yeah, more lazing) watching CSI on Supreme Sunday ! What life! hehehe ..
So, today is no different except that my SKYPE went ringing off at 6.45am (yes, that's almost a sin on SUNDAY ! ) & zoombified me literally crawled my way to the pc to say Good Morning to Baby Jun in Shen Zhen . Though I do love Baby Jun but on a Sunday MORNING !! Arrrgghhh .... I am such a swine I know ...heheheh
After convincing uncle Eugene that I will look like a drug addict without my beauty sleep, he finally gave in and shooed me off to my bed but made me promise to keep my SKYPE on so that he can call me from the hospital . Oh, for those not in the know, my grannie is in hospital in Shen Zhen (she is getting better .. thank you) and we communicate & see each other via SKYPE ..thank god for technology!
Anyway, I did drag myself out of my place today. In fact, Sand & I decided to explore the western part of the island (known to many as Jalan Boon Lay/Jurong West) and here's what we saw ...
Big ripe dragonfruit which Sand can hardly keep her hands off ! We did buy a couple of dragonfruits along with some potato leaves, dragon fruit jelly and sweet leaf stevia.
Hmm .... I wonder ??? (By the way, its Thai Passion Fruit )

A not so happy doggie "confronting" our car along Lim Chu Kang Road . I froze in my tracks cos it was just walking directly in my path. Good thing the roads were empty ( Like who else beside us 2 nutcase will go farm hunting on a RAINY day ?!!)
New discovery in a recently opened Sheng Siong along Jalan Boon Lay. The malt favoured milk tasted pretty good (we both bought it !!hahaha)
Spotted along the road, reminded me of how we are all like hamsters living in little square cubicles. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against living in a flat. In fact, I live in one myself and love being a heartlander. Aunties sitting in void decks, hokkien spewing crowds in rowdy coffeeshops are very much a part of me okie.
Took this pic outside Li Hwa Beer Garden along Yuan Ching Road. Such a retro looking toilet yah. Very 70s ... I can almost imagine folks in bell bottoms and girls in mini dresses in platforms walking out of it .hehehe ... Did I tell you I love the 70s ?!
