While I was going around minding my own business one Thursday afternoon when I spied from the corner of my eye, a tiny yellow dot at the far corner of my table
Curiosity got the better me and I leaned forward for a closer look and lo & behold, it is a Ladybird (yes Ler, this is what a ladybird looks like!)
For those who know me (and of cos the entire HR team in NLB will testify to that), I love insects and creepy crawlies and have a habit of keeping them as pets. Recall the 5 caterpillars I kept at Level 14 & the escapade of one which eventually turned into a moth ??!Hehehe ... fun right
So the 3 of us (yup, I have recruited more to join in my weird hobby) decided to place Sunshine (our name for the cheery ladybird) in a little container and even went to the field to get some grass and leaves for its playground & food (we assume
Janey was so enthusiatic about Sunshine and even went online to surf for its breed and found out that it was a Asian Halequin Beetle .. cool yah
But .. sigh .... when I went back to my office the next morning, what greeted me was a sight I dread. Yes, Sunshine was no longer crawling in her little container. In fact, her wings were out spread as though she has been trying to fly out of her "prison" the entire night & had die of exhausation. Sob sob
Here are some pictures of Sunshine.. think she was a baby cos barely 1mm.
